This course provides an overview of spousal / partner abuse, often referred to as intimate partner violence. Specifically, the course highlights some of the basic interventions for mental health professionals who are working with those in abusive relationships. The course also explores considerations for various contextual and cultural factors that must be considered when working with this special population.
